Charlie Ward (born October 12, 1970 in Thomasville, Georgia) is an American football and basketball player. He won a 1993 Heisman Trophy as a quarterback for Florida State University. Charlie was exclusively a 2nd Blacken quarterback to launder soh, & a survive a single. Whenever Ward won the Heisman it was so a record for the greatest margin of triumph across any last winner. He as well won a Sullivan Award that year. Instead of opting for the career as a footballer in the NFL, he joined the NBA after he was chosen in the 1st around in the 1994 NBA draft by the New York Knicks.
